השאלות ששלחתי לד"ר דייויד איוב והתשובות שנתן. זה עדיין לא מתורגם, אבל לכשנתרגם אותן, נעלה לעמוד הראשי.
1. Which vaccines, if any, would you recommend administering? In which ages?
I suggest that the reader approach each vaccine separately. Each has its own risk/benefit ratio. I gave you a reference file that included several books I recommended. My favorite book is "The Sanctity of Human Blood", by Tim O'Shea. Based upon my own research I have some limited specific recommendations which I can offer.
a) influenza vaccine, pandemic or not, should not be accepted in any risk group. The typical efficiency of the vaccine is 5%. Vitamin D repletion offers a much greater benefit at preventing flu. In the winter months adults should take from 3,000 IU- 10,000 IU daily, Vitamin D3, infants 1,000 IU daily and toddlers/children 2,000 IU.
b)The benefit of the HPV vaccines will not be fully known for at least 20 more years and they are the most reactive vaccines on the current US schedule. Tobacco cessation and B12 repletion will reduce the risk of cervical cancer to a greater degree than the vaccine.
2. What about the tetanus vaccine? Why is it always given with diphtheria and Pertussis? Can and should it be given alone?
There is no reason to combine this vaccine for adults and it exposes to the very real risks of neurological injury from the DP portions of the vaccine. I do not know why single vaccines have become more difficult to obtain, but some still contain Thimerosal (mercury) so insist on a Thimerosal-free formulation. The risk of tetanus is very very small. Again, I would read the chapter on Tetanus in O'Shea's book. I am very comfortable recommending avoidance of tetanus vaccine for adults. Deep wounds should be washed thoroughly.
3. Are there aluminum and mercury in "new" vaccines?
About 90% of influenza vaccines in the US still have mercury. You can find a complete list of the vaccines with mercury here: Vaccine Safety & Availability > Thimerosal in Vaccines
Aluminum is in HepB, HepA, DTaP, Pneumococcal vaccines and vaccines with combine these vaccines. It is not in seasonal flu vaccine but is in some H1N1 formulas.
HPV vaccines contain a novel aluminum adjuvant which is relatively unstudied.
4. What are the alternatives to vaccines? Other than vitamins, minerals and hygiene, is there anything else we can do to prevent deadly diseases and infections?
There is a lot of information about this subject. Some use homeopathy to prevent childhood illnesses. Others use a broad nutritional approach. The most common recommendations are to optimize nutrition (organic, unprocessed food, avoid additives, MSG, aspartame, amalgam fillings) or take supplements (Vitamin D, C, zinc) approaches. Vitamin D (sunshine or natural) is important.
5. And one question from me: What exactly is the concoction that drives toxins out? I know Niacin (B3, not nicotinamide) is a very powerful detoxifying agent. You mentioned also B6, B12 and folic acid. Are there any more?
Another broad question with too many answers. It depends on which toxin you want to remove. Anything that promotes methylation and increases glutathione levels will detoxify by using your own biochemistry. Chelation is a more aggressive way to detoxify. A good book is "Detoxify or Die" by Sherri Rogers.
